Spring projects

What a day! The weather was great so we stayed the whole time outside doing many many things. It was a very busy workshop I have to say. Eco Kids started today with making a spring picture. They painted sun, flowers, trees on the framed picture made of... paper bags and the frame out of sponge. When it dried Eco Kids decorated it with special stickers with bugs. It was a beautiful project made on the tables outside!
Then the first group of Eco Kids: Ania, Zelda, Zita, Manka, Aisha, Joel, Helena, Zosia and Grace made Easter decorations out of wood. All with Easter bunnies, eggs, ships, etc. We just started Easter arts and crafts and there will be more.
Instead of this the second group made mirrors. It was a difficult project, because Eco Kids had to paint the whole frame and it was a really big one. Everyone made it in an interesting way. Girls: Helena, Molly, Sophie and Fernanda painted light colors, flowers and patterns, boys more red and black, Harry and Antek with the name of their band, Jakub and Dowey with many elements, Samuel - the meadow. Eco Kids enjoyed doing it on the grass. It looked fantastic!
Then we went down to the river to put the signs saying in Polish not to put trash around, to take care of the nature, etc. We also decorated them. Eco Kids were very excited to do it. They really care for the Earth. You should be proud of them. Then we promised to ourselves to be ecological. It was a great walk and both groups liked it.
Today was very colorful for Eco Kids! They were full of energy and worked so hard with great results, which you can see at home and on the pictures.

See you the next Saturday!
