Pegasi fly away

We started so nicely with colorful arts & crafts. First we were making the project PEGASUS. Each pegasus was made of wood, and kids have got it in pieces to connect them with glue. They all made it by themselves, I was proud. Did they practice during the summer? I don’t know… Then it was painting. I bought lately fluorescent paint and it made a new effect to wooden pegasi. When it dried Eco Kids put the feathers on. So it took a lot of time, but it was worth and each kid liked it a lot! It is for sure that pegasi fly away! It can be a decoration, but also a toy you can play with.
The next project was WOODEN MUSIC EARNINGS – easier and with quick nice result. Everybody decided to give it as a present.
The second group made pegasi and CORK ARMY. Oh, the ideas of the kids were just amazing! In the end army was ready to the battle.
We had time for ice cream in the nice bakery in my neighborhood. Walk together is great for us as a team.

I tell you, it was just a great beginning!
Looking forward to this Saturday!

Summer session photos

3 days of summer session was great!!! Kids were so happy to spend some time together when there was no school. They were working with many different materials: wood, paper, sponge, nuts and some others. I was preparing the projects for them thinking about sunny summer days. During the session Eco Kids were painting, drawing, cutting, sticking, etc. I always try to find the ways to get them involved in the projects asking some questions about the things we do, telling the stories, challenging them. It all worked and the effects you can see at the photos. Kids were happy to do almost all the works outside and have a snack on the grass. Yes, we all like picnics...
Now I am looking forward to the next session and I am thinking about special projects for my Eco Kids artists!

See you soon!
