Winter and Christmas trees

Our ecoworkhop is connecting eco art and craft and ecogames. Getting outdoor exercise in the garden is part of being eco. So every time, we start the ecoworkshop like this. Also we take breaks outside to play games. Physical education is an important part of being eco.

place for outdoor activieties and our... toys:)
Being outside is also important, because Eco kids get inspiration for all projects, from being outdoors.
Today we had a very creative ecoworshop with art and crafts! The subject was winter and Christmas. So first we made a Christmas tree using paper bags and also old newspapers to fill the bags. Later we put "snow" on it. It was fun to make it.

Then we made another Christmas tree from toilet paper tubes. I cut them for the kids some days before and... it turned out to be 90 pieces. Can you believe how many toilet paper tubes we saved?  It was one of our most challenging projects. Eco kids had to put the green paper on all 6 tubes and then connect and decorate them. They did an amazing job!

I have to say that all of the kids working in this session are great.

Next week we meet for the last time in this session (the next one starts on January) and we will have a lot of Christmas work then! We will make wooden angels, Christmas trees and Santas. See you all!
