Eco snakes project

Today Eco Kids brought the sun into our garden and the class.
We were happy to have some new Eco Kids: Jasmine, Joel and Jonas and a very special guest, the Roots & Shoots leader in ASW - Mrs. Lynn Hammond. She helped us with many things.
On the beginning we made some more hands' prints as the signs of nature. Some Eco Kids signed them with their names.

We have started the art craft work with the challenging project, a snake. There was a lot of work changing the toilet paper tubes into snakes. All together we used 44 toilet paper tubes, isn't that amazing? The kids did a fantastic job! We made the different skins of the animal with many different designs. It was very colorful! You can see how our work turned out to be...

Then we started the candles project, but we will finish it on the next workshop so then there will I be ale to explain more about it.
As usually the second part of the workshop was different. We made a game, building a great wall out of the boxes, cans, bottles and the other things. Then we tried to demolish it this. That was fun! Its amazing how little things you need to play and inspire yourself. Then we made a big terrarium for our snakes also from the same things we made our wall from. Later we named them. Everybody liked it.
It was not easy to finish but the time passed quickly!

See you next week great eco team!
