Musical Eco Kids edition

Today we made the instrumental version of Eco Kids workshop. That was so interesting - to make instruments and then play them! All Eco Kids liked it a lot and we will repeat it in September for sure, because we have much more instruments to do!
You can make an instrument out of nothing: toilet tube, kitchen towel tube, plastic container, hanger, box, etc. Just to find the way to make a sound. We did it with some of these materials. Kids can tell you how and what we used to it. You can also take a look on the instruments they took home.
Eco Kids divided themselves into the groups. It was good idea to present the music to each other, to have the opportunity to share the interests, to help each other and learn from each other too.
Today we had a special guest st the workshop, Magda Biernacka. She is a professional drum player. She provides the workshop for the adults. She showed the kids how to play drums, joined the groups of kids playing drums, helped kids find the rhythm.
Some kids wrote eco songs.
Let me present part of the eco song written by Harry and Antek:
Oh, written on the trees,
They being us, please,
We need to be more green,
oh oh,
Plants are dying,
And were not cleaning
We need to be more clean, oh, oh, oh
Green, green,
come let's clean
clean, clean,
let's water some plants, lots of trees grow,
green, green, green
let's  clean, clean, clean
Don't cut the trees down
cause it's making Mother Nature frown...

Great job, Eco Kids!

playing time first:)

we start making the projects:)
