Gardening is a great thing for spring! Eco Kids had the occasion to try it this Saturday. First they got the pots made from marble. The pots were ecological, because they were produced from the rest overs of marble material for the floors, walls, etc. I was happy to find these pots in the shop. Kids painted them beautifully with acrylic paints, so they can also stay outside, for example in the garden. Then when they dried up Eco Kids put the special material in it to keep the humidity and too much water inside the pot, then they took the flowers and soil and plant. They had a lot of fun and they were very proud they did it themselves.
The second project Eco Kids from both groups made on Saturday was caterpillar made out of the eggs' containers. First they painted the containers and then they add many elements like eyes, legs, etc. Caterpillars were one of the projects kids found out easy, but so surprising with the effect.
The third project was planting... the cards. Eco Kids put the cards in the plastic plates with some water. This ecological cards will change in few days. There will be the plants on it. Just remember at home about filling it with water.
Except of projects there we some games and hide and seek of course. We had great weather, so mostly we were working outside.
