Today was such a great sunny day, which made us to walk into the garden and pick up the leaves. We needed the leaves to make the vases from the plastic bottles.
We had was so much fun decorating the bottles with the leaves. And everybody found something individual, something special to add to his or her vase.. Every single work was different from the other. It was such a great thing! One of the very interesting ideas was Samuel's idea. I am sure the kids showed you the vases and were proud of them.
The next thing was making the tree. We used the things you normally put into the trash for eg. the kitchen paper towel tubes and the some leftover materials. We also used natural materials like the small branches from the garden and pine-cones. It was really challenging! We made a whole exhibition with the trees. It was our forest.
The last project was... building. I collected many boxes with different sizes, a lot of plastic bottles, some cans, and a lot of other things for the kids. Eco kids built what they wanted to. Houses and castles... It was amazing! They were working in groups and the effect... wow! I loved it! You can see it on the photos, but I am happy a lot of you saw it in real life.
