Eco games and art craft

Today we welcomed new Eco Kids! We played a lot outside, cause being eco is also being close to nature, sportive & caring for health. We started with making… a cake for Grace. We did it from boxes, bottles and cartons! It was big and it looked amazing and funny. We sang Grace “Happy Birthday” and “Sto lat”. 

Then one group stayed outside to play games in which we were used the recycling materials. For example a snake, slalom with cartons, basketball practice with bottle and a contest who would build the tallest tower. It was a lot of fun! Ask your kids about the details. 

Then the second group was doing arts and crafts in the workshop. First we made candles with different decorations and some coffee crops inside. 

 

 
Then we made octopuses from bottles. The kids loved this project! It is awesome, when you take a bottle, which you normally put into the trash and make it into something like this. Eco kids did a great job! The octopuses were full of colors – it was the way imagination worked out. We switched after every project, so the kids were busy with playing games and making the crafts here and there. 

It was a great workshop!
