It was the end of the winter break session today, we celebrated this with waffles and chocolate and of course... recycling:) The session was great - kids learned a lot about saving the planet by games, arts & crafts, songs, videos and books. They also learned social skills by working together as a group and helping each other in projects. They were so inspired that coming back home they made a lot of things by themselves out of the recycling materials. I was happy to get presents from my Eco Kids: plastic jewelery and candle in the jar. I was so excited by kids ideas and thankful as well.
Eco Kids made today wonderful bookmarks with all the colors, some of them look like a rainbow. Take a look at the pictures and enjoy the colors.
Also we read the book by Lauren Child with Charlie and Lola "Snow is my favorite and my best" and painted the snowman on the black paper using corks. Then we used the branches as their hands. One snowman stayed in the class.
There were still kids who wanted to do... the garages.
So they did with so many new ideas, because there is always the possibility to realize their requests and wishes.
On Saturday January 14 we start the next great session, which will last for 5 weeks. Kids will have new experiences, arts & crafts, games and... songs.
