Fantastic day with art and nature

Today the weather was good again and the snow around made us all to feel winter and coming Christmas! We had great day of WINTER ECOWORKSHOP.

This time the kids played outside on the beginning and in the end of the workshop. It helps them to build the team skills.

 

In meantime we were finishing yesterday project (Christmas tree), which came out beautiful and then we were also painting the wooden things. 

Kids were so busy with it. So many colours, ideas and ways of doing it. 

Outside we made a sign ECO KIDS divided in two teams, which kids made so cool! Also we made some of the games of the last days, which kids liked and some new... with singing Christmas carols. 

 
 Tomorrow it will be something special! I just can't wait!

Third day - snowy and creative

After three days of our WINTER WORKSHOP I can say it was such a great idea to organize it before Christmas, work with the kids on so many Christmas projects, enjoy playing together outside and making small presentation about ecology. Today especially kids were enjoying first snow in this year!

I have a great feedback both from the parents and from the kids. I see  them everyday having fun, when they do arts & crafts, compete in Winter Olympics and also when we play new games. 

Today as always we had three art projects: making two different Christmas trees and Santas. First we made Santas - they were just amazing, I have to say kids had some original ideas like eg. Santa as... Ninja. Some made the traditional Santas. Kids loved doing this.Two girls who made it on my workshop before made the angels.

After this we went outside, this time playing the survival and sportive games, provided by my husband, who run the marathon and now is making 100 km marathon in swimming. Kids found it really interesting.


When we came back inside we made two different types of Christmas trees out of colour paper and toilet tubes. Christmas trees full of stars! The last project we did not finish, so we are planning to continue tomorrow.        

 Tomorrow will be another great day!

Second day is another great day!

On the second day of WINTER ECOWORKSHOP we did a lot of things! 

First and very important thing was a conversation "what we can do in our everyday life for nature". This was very interesting.
We started art and crafts with doing a big surprise candies. We used again the toilet tubes to this work some color paper, green string and nice stickers. The kids really liked to do it and in the end of the class when I asked the kids what art they liked the most of all we have done today it was mostly the answer that this one. 

To the second art project we divided into two groups. One was making the garage (they liked so much the one we made yesterday) and... the skate park. The other group painted and decorated the Christmas trees, stars and snowman. The works were just great!

We went outside to play some, but first we made a recycling birthday cake for Helena. She was inside it! Then we sang Happy Birthday to her in English and Polish.

Later kids were playing tag, hide & seek, also we made a big bowling game. You should see the kids bowling with the cans, boxes and bottles. They were just fantastic!    

Today was quite cold, so then we went inside to make another arts & crafts. It was a small present you can put on your Christmas tree, but also put on your desk. It was not easy to do, but kids did it with a small help.

Tomorrow we will make another projects. Looking forward!
