It was a fantastic workshop today!
We have done so much; kids were great,
passionately engaged in all activities, true ECO KIDS!
So we started with putting colour fingerprints
on furniture in. We put blue, white and green colours. We found out together
that blue is for sky and water, white is for snow and clouds and green is for
trees and grass. There was so much fun, children did not want stop doing this.
Now we have a lot of these prints:) and
we will do even more next time.
Then we did an experiment about how many empty
plastic bottles can fill up trashcan. It was 5 for one group: Zelda, Helena,
Maria Jose, Ania and Grace and 6 for the other: Harry, Antek and Wiktor. Then
we tried with the smashed ones – wow! It was much more than double! And the
cups you can collect for many reasons. That was an experiment with a lot of
smashing and laughing!
The pumpkin from the toilet tube and the paper
was the art craft we did this time. Every Eco Kid made a great one! We had a
lot of pumpkins in the class. I really admired how creative kids were!
The last thing was a candle. It was made of the
cardboard from cardboard box, which was reused, and the colour paper from the
paper bags. I hope these candles will make some light in your house.
Kids made them with a pleasure.
Kids made them with a pleasure.
It was time to say goodbye then, but we will
see each other in a week.
Today we had a great start!
